I've LOVED this song ever since it very first came out. For many years I've always wanted to do a version myself & fortunately I was finally able to do it. With much thanks to the original writer Daniel Moore & for his referral to the Harry Fox Agency I am now able to LEGALLY post & sell my version.. I'll also mention that originally I did approached it with a big "guitarmagedon" type of flavor - But when I played it for my friend for some sonic direction, he listened & asked " well , is it about the guitar or the vocal ? " Hmmm, good question??? Well obviously it is about the vocal so , that pretty much took care of all that. I think that the wonderful Gaby Moreno clearly demonstrates why. I do hope you enjoy it! Originally another keyboard tune from Rich. I had a very hard time making this my own but I eventually did. Rich's main part has remained on the bass line and I rewrote all the guitar parts... I was going for a part that felt like the overdub part from Hear About It Later in the main section. I feel like I achieved that & it's obvious where those sections are. This is a flange happy tune with a cool outro as well...

I always hear Jamie's Cryin' from people about this. Yeah I know BUT it's the guitar overdub part ONLY that has that. Listen close, what your really hearing is Christine Sixteen... Where do you think Jamie's Cryin' came from???????

this track sounded so huge when we played it live in the studio I couldn't believe it and the parts are really fun to play. Cool chords with a nice dark Fair Warning feel... Also this was a very hard song to name. Both Rich & I tried for days to name this sucka. I ended up taking my friends old band name. I love it. & he's cool with it...

I love these parts. Rich wrote them on the keyboard & I translated them into guitar parts. It was a bitch but well worth it.

I love the intro ( fair warning ), I love the outro ( 1984 - maybe even OU812 cuz of the racket ball court verb on the lead out) I also dig the bridge parts (really cool chords, thanks Terry Kilgore) .

Rich came up with the main riff and idea for this one & I did the pre chorus's and the bridge section. Obviously a VH1 RWD rhythm pump with a VHII guitar vibe. ( I think )

first tune we wrote together. This was mostly Rich's idea. He wrote it on keys. I again wrote the chorus's and the outro primarily. This tune has always felt soft to us & I had a hard time trying to get a Ed feel with it. It just felt like Sammy era ( nothing wrong with that ) but I couldn't lock into a solid feel and find my parts in the verses. It has some cool parts but a rewrite is in order at some point...

I wrote this for the last Dukes of Hazzard movie that went straight to dvd. They decided not to use it. I am only playing tambourine & singing the background gang vocals. I hired ringers to play everything else. They nailed this track in less than 20 minutes. I love working with Kings... And Queens... No not those kind. Not that there's anything wrong with those kind!

the chord progression for this song came from a band I was sitting in with for a few months. They had it sitting around for years. It was part of a 7 minute jam tune & they never did anything with it. I tried to turn it into a usable song and arrangement. It was called "my guitar" and had several up and down solos and dynamics...So I basically rewrote it and tried to get a usable arrangement out of it. I sang certain lines to cue the singer to my arrangement as well as laying down some bv parts I made up. Anyway, I recorded everything & demoed it & a week later I split the project. Singer said " use it if you want ", they never did anything with it. So here it is in it's entirety..
